Opening a trade account
Trade pricing is for businesses. Before an account is approved we may ask for your business registration details, VAT number or other trade credentials.
Paying
Your payment terms are set on your account and are shown to you at checkout. Two things can happen:
- Credit terms. If we have agreed credit with you in writing, you simply place the order and pay on invoice within the agreed number of days.
- Payment on ordering. Otherwise the order is paid by card when you place it. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Nothing is dispatched until an order that requires payment has been paid.
Cancellations, claims and returns
Business customers do not have the consumer right to cancel. Report any problem with a delivery in writing within 24 hours. Perishable and thawed goods cannot be returned.
Prices
Prices are shown per case and exclude VAT. Most frozen food is zero-rated in the UK; ice cream, sorbet and similar lines carry VAT at the standard rate. The rate applied to each line is shown on your order.
