Brioche col Tuppo is a typical leavened product from Sicilian tradition, recognisable by its mushroom-like shape: a soft base topped with a small dome (the “tuppo”). Made with a rich dough containing eggs, butter, and sugar, it is soft, fluffy, and has an intense vanilla aroma. Perfect for breakfast on its own, it is also widely known as the classic bun for ice cream sandwiches (“brioche con gelato”). A raw frozen product, it is baked directly in the oven.
